Some couples prefer themes because of the festive atmosphere they can lend to a ceremony.

Receptions:
While we do not personally arrange for
receptions, we are knowledgeable about Lowcountry catering companies and planning for
receptions. Once a couple books a wedding with us, we email information about catering
companies, restaurants and reception venues.
Time and Tide:
Once you choose a day, we will work with you to plan a time to ensure that the 'tides will
be out' and the beach will be beautiful. We don't like to use the 'R word' at A Charleston
Beach Wedding, but sometimes that soft, gentle liquid does fall from the sky. In that
case, we have options that will keep you warm and dry. And, remember, they say that for
every rain drop that falls, the bride will cry one less tear in her life. (They also say
that 'happy is the bride the sun shines on'). So, either way, your wedding will be just
perfect.
| Beach House
Rentals: Some couples choose to
rent a beach house and then have their ceremony in front of the house. This works
out especially well if the reception is held in the house afterward. However,
couples do need to know that beach realty companies are specific about which
houses they will rent as 'event houses' and there is typically an
extra fee for weddings. Once a couple sends in the deposit, we provide

Spa Packages
For your special day, we can send some of Charleston's top make-up and hair stylists to
your place on the island; or we can refer you to nearby stylists; and can even provide spa
packages, including massage. However, we also appreciate the fact that most 'beach brides'
prefer the natural look. We have a saying: At A Charleston Beach Wedding, Every
Bride is Beautiful and Every Wedding is Perfect. And it's absolutely true. |
